i’m just wondering whether pitt or Indiana has the stronger neuroscience program

Pitt, easily, in both graduate and undergraduate. Pitt has a much larger neuroscience research community (and much large bioscience community overall). Although for graduate school, you should look to see which labs and which type of research you are most interested in and that should influence your decision.

Regarding undergrad and has had a full fledged undergraduate neuroscience department (not just a program) with a dedicated faculty for undergraduate neuroscience teaching for over 25 years. IU’s program is part of their Psychology department and doesn’t offer as many courses (and their offerings, not surprisingly, lean heavily towards biopsychology). It’s not even close, really.
