I have been accepted to both schools for biomedical engineering, however I am not 100% sure that I am going to stick with that major. Pittsburgh is ranked higher than USC, however USC is ranked higher overall. I want to be able to get the most well rounded education with opportunities for research and jobs after graduation. While Pittsburgh is cheaper, both options are feasible, but is the Trojan network worth the extra money?

Where do you think you want to end up upon graduation? If you think you want to end up in Pittsburgh, then go to Pitt. If your heart is in California, think about USC.

The ranking of the school and depth of its alumni network will count for less than 1% of your success after graduation. The other 99+% will be how well you do at whichever school you go to.
