<p>When a person takes a test to place out and receive credit for a class, such as Calculus I, does the person still have to take 1 year of math during college because of the 1 year of Calculus requirement? Im not sure how it works. I am going to take a test to receive credit for Calculus I(which is 1 semester of calculus), but does that fullfill my calculus requirement for medical school or do I still have to take another math class?</p>
<p>it depends on ur college, also if you’re doing pre-med most med schoold don’t let you use any credits u earned from AP/IBs for admission requirements. Thus ur gonna have to tak math anyways whether ur school makes u take it or not</p>
