Placements after graduation

What are the placements for BU SMG graduates as well as biomedical engineering graduates?

i dont know about SMG placements but since i am doing BME at BU, i do know from BU’s annual report that bme placements are very good. i was impressed even by the co-op placemnets BU BMEers get!

btw radhika, i am from delhi. hope to see you on campus!

Hope to see you there too but I am still contemplating whether to stick to India and do Economics Honours from SRCC or move to Boston. Where can I have a look at this annual report? Any idea how many ppl from India going to BU this year?

Bruno, my S will be a freshman and was born in New Delhi. Where do you live in the city?

@kinshasa: i live in Hauz Khas, which is south delhi. were you connected to the US embassy here by any chance?

@radhika: eco honours and biomed engineering are very very diferent courses. try looking deep inside you to figure out if you like engineering and would eventually like to be an engineer/researcher. if you do, then go for it. i understand this is that time of the whole god damned admissions process when you sit back and think “do i need to spend that much money on a US education when indian ed costs just 1/80?”
it’s perfectly normal and it is worth it. if you want to change your school from SMG to ENG go for it because BU’s BME is very highly ranked and with the purchase of the new life sciences building, i am willing to bet it’ll only rise further. if you would like to have a look at the annual report, it’s there on www.bu.edu/bme
regarding how many indans are attending BU this year, i would safely put the figure at 9, including you and me.

Thanks for the info, bruno.

Sorry for the late reply; I’ve been out of town. Yes, we were connected with the US Embassy. We stayed in several different areas during our four years-- from Shanti Niketan to Chirag Enclave. S was born in the Embassy hospital.
