Places that hire people with disabilities?

<p>Hi all,</p>

<p>I’m having trouble finding work. I have a physical disability that doesn’t allow me to stand ofr hours, so many retail and food places aren’t willing to hire me. Does anybody know of a store that accommodates this? For example, a stool at the cash register, etc. I can walk fine and am able to move around the store freely, but standing up behind a register for over 2 hours would be unbearable.</p>

<p>I believe that Home Depot has a good record with hiring people with disabilities.</p>

<p>The EEOC has gotten pretty aggressive about requiring employers to make accommodations, so Im surprised you are having so much trouble. There should be plenty of retail positions that could work.</p>
