My roommate and I just got an email saying that, based on chem and bio placement test results, we have the chance to skip LS 1a and go straight to MCB 52. But before we do that, we have to take another 30-minute test. Do any of you know how difficult it is in comparison with the online placement tests? What kinds of questions are on it?

I didn’t get that e-mail. It makes me feel inferior :/

also did you do FUP, I think I saw you around at the math placement test and at currier the day of the blackout…

yeah that test was only for the smartest and most capable chemistry and biology students

Don’t worry piccolojr you’re still better than me in chemistry or whatever it was you’re taking grad courses in. I placed into expos 20, LS1a and math Xa. (However in my defense I took all my math and calculus in grades 10/11 and promptly forgot everything after the tests.)

lol I missed the invitation cut-off by 10 points. meh…

A friend told me that the cutoff this year was above 784
but you are not supposed to prepare for the placement
unlike the challenge exams at MIT where you get credits…?

^I know someone who got invited with a 770.
