Unbelievable, but true. My son applied for a major scholarship a couple days ago, and just received an email saying that several applicants were caught plagiarizing on their essays. The students were deemed ineligible for the scholarship, and the essay question will not be considered for any other students (bummer - my son spent a lot of time on that essay, writing it himself, of course).
What scholarship is this?
I don’t remember now, but I can try to find it for you. I think it was engineering based and the winners have already been announced. Let me know if you want me to find the email (my son applied for lots of scholarships so I don’t know which one I posted about).
