I am currently an incoming second-semester freshman at Indiana University (IUB) with an intended double major in Journalism/Spanish and a minor in Russian and a 3.75 GPA. I attended an information session earlier in the fall about the process of preparing and applying to law school where the importance of LSAT scores was implied to be the most important acceptance factor.

I know that it is important to begin studying for the LSAT early, but what is the general, recommended plan of action? Also, are my majors acceptable ones? Finally, while I believe that IU is highly underrated academically, I can’t help but wonder how other Law Schools look at an applicant with an undergrad education from a school that is not considered “elite” in the stereotypical sense.

Any advice is appreciated!
