Ok, so I got my results back from the Jan. SAT, and I was a little disappointed.
I got a 1860 composite, 640 Math, 600 CR and 620 W.

So I need to improve all across the board. My goal is to get a 2100. I’m registered for the March SAT and for that SAT I’m hoping for at least a 2000 on that test. I’ll take it in May and June most likely.

What do you think I should do? I was not that disappointed about this score because I literally did not study at all. This also gets my butt moving on studying. For the PSAT, which I got a 196, I studied kind of a good amount, like 2 hours a week for a month before the test.
Now I’m willing to put in 10 hours a week if I have to .

So here is my plan.

I have the practice Blue Book. Untouched. I’m going to do 3 or 4 tests before March 13.
I also plan on studying the answers from the Jan. SAT.

Should I buy this book for math? Grubers seems to be the best, but not sure if this is the right one.

So apparently Rocket Review is the best for CR? It’s hella expensive. Anyone know where I could pick up a cheaper copy?

Is Grammatix worth getting? That looks kinda expensive too. And I can’t seem to find the website.

I also plan on ordering Direct Hits very soon.

So it looks like I’m set for Math with Grubers, but I need to find a good book for CR and W. my worst two sections.

Any other tips and hints? Maybe I should stick to the ACT. I got a 29 on that on my first try…

Thanks!
