<p>I plan on trying to transfer to USC in a year…I met with a USC counselor and they gave me a list of transferable courses that I should/need to take before transferring. Is this possible? Should I even try? Or are classes just too difficult to get?</p>

<p>Just curious: you’re planning to transfer out of UCI without ever having taken a day of classes here, correct? You do realize that UC tuition is going to be about $12,000 next year, not including 11,000 for room and board (if you live on campus). I guess it’s your decision to make, but I just don’t understand the rationale.</p>
<p>If you really want a class… waitlisting actually works, especially if it’s for fall quarter (since there’s the whole summer for people to add/drop)… But it’s doable in 2 years, since most people don’t transfer until then anyways, or if anything, take classes at a community college…</p>
<p>Definitely try it. If it doesn’t work out… well who cares? UCI is good still.</p>
