<p>I was at the Vet’s ceremony. It was nice. I think the fly-over was late though. They flew over the school about fifteen minutes after the apparent end of the ceremony. Maybe I left early or something, but people were scattering so I did too. I was reading by the fountain at the top of Janss Steps when the plane went over.</p>
<p>But yeah, it was for the Veterans’ Day service.</p>
<p>They should have given prior notice! I was sleeping and thought the plane would hit the building by the amount of noise …</p>

<p>we had a flyover at the football game today, i was so distracted by it i forgot to pull my flag down after the national anthem… we started doing “sons” and i was like oh crap… not my finest moment. but the flyover was cool :)</p>

<p>The chancellor (Gene Block) sent an email notice about the ceremony and fly-over. Which is how I knew about it and was able to attend (sort of: I sat on the hill by Janss steps and watched from there).</p>
<p>Oh, yeah, I loved the flyover at the game too Liyana. Most people were being all professional and staring straight ahead, but I looked! It was beautiful. I think today was one of our worse pregames, though. Not too bad, but not great. The crowd still liked it, fortunately! :D</p>
<p>Pfft. You guys should hang out more at UCSD. You think it’s annoying being in class and having people chatting outside? I regularly had to teach section as the F-18s thundered back and forth.</p>
