I want to attend Columbus State Community College in Ohio summer 2017 as a non resident student because i moved to Ohio from California. How much is the fee for a course or unit? How much will it be if i take 4 classes? Do they have BOGW like they do in California. (BOGW applicants are not required to be enrolled in a specific number of units. The BOGW pays the Enrollment Fees for the academic year and Summer Term)
Thanks
I did and it doesn’t show what i am looking for.
^^ You didn’t try very hard.

You can also pick up the phone and call them, you know.
There is nothing like the Calgrant in Ohio. You will be paying out of state costs to attend this community college. There is no BOGW in Ohio.
You also need to check to see IF you can establish residency WHILE you are in college. You might not be able to.
It is very possible you will be considered an OOS resident if your parents continue to reside in a different state.
How old are you?
Oh good! When did you move to Ohio? Any chance you can just wait until you have lived there for a year? I believe you would have in state status for tuition if you do so. Since you are over 24, the residency of your parents doesn’t matter.
I move in a months time. I really don’t want to wait a whole year. I only got a few units/course to finish up and transfer to a university. I don’t mind paying out of pocket for the classes I need. But I just want to get familiarize with the cost. So I will be ready when it’s enrollment time.
What does “Semester Credit Hours” mean?
If you take one four credit course, it will cost you the amount listed next to four credit for an OOS student.
As you can see…the more credits yountake, the less it actually costs per hour of credit.
How many credits do you need to take? 4, 8, 12? Look across the row next to the number of the amount of credits you will be taking…that is what it will cost.
Contact the CC directly for information about residency. In some states the residency time is shorter for community colleges than for public universities and/or there are possible waivers if the person moved because of a required military or company transfer.
