Hey guys,
I am a current sophomore at a University of Nevada Las Vegas. I plan on applying to a few schools including USC, NYU, and U of Michigan. I messed up pretty bad my first fall semester with a 2.7 gpa. The following spring however I managed to get a 3.8. Then the following fall I recieved a 3.8 also. I plan on retaking the classes with low scores from fall, over the summer. My school replaces the higher grade with the lower grade in my gpa, but it will show up in my transcript that I received the first lower grade. If I manage to get my GPA up to about a 3.7-3.8, what are my chances?

college extracurriculars: greek life, student government, study abroad program.
SAT is on the low side, 1800.
Currently, I have completed 50 credits. In progress: 15.
