The maker of the website is probably rolling in money now, because the amount advertisers will pay to have an ad on a page is way more than what 20 grains of rice costs. Plus, if you get a question wrong, that’s pure profit for the site maker. </p>
<p>Save your time and donate to a real charity.</p>
<p>I doubt that people’s main motivation is to go to the site to make a charitable donation–it’s to play the game. Which I’ve found over the past few months is highly addictive and actually useful, even if you’re long past having to study for the SAT.</p>

<p>Yup, legit. It’s my understanding that the companies that appear on the website are the ones that actually are shelling out for the rice.</p>

<p>My family knows the owner/author of the website. I can assure you he is not rolling in money now because of it. I believe it’s something he created for fun in his free time.</p>

<p>Poetsheart – 2640 grains. What can I say? I’m a little obsessive about games. I don’t know how much is in a serving of rice, grains-wise, but I think that probably fed a couple of people.</p>
<p>Oh, I wish I had ignored this thread!!! I LOVE this game! I am a sucker for vocabulary tests … and this one is addictive for me. I am going to have to limit my playing time … it’s just MUCH too fun.</p>
