Playing Sports In College

Does anyone know the percentage of certain high school players playing in college?

The following sports:
Tennis
Baseball
Football
Basketball
Lacrosse
Soccer
Hockey
Etc.

Like what percentage of high school players end up playing in college.

Let me google that for you.

the rule of thumb I have heard is and seems to be in the ball park around me is ... to play DI you need to be in about the top 1% of high school players ... and to play DIII you need to be in about the top 10% of high school players

Unless you are talking about Cal Tech. From my understanding on their basketball team they don't have a single player that was even on varsity in highschool.

I hope you're joking. They had a 300 something in-conference losing streak, but they won plenty of games out of conference. It's not like their team is the equivalent of an average high school JV team, they would drop the sport if things came to that.

If you're thinking of playing a sport in college, take a look at the forum for Athletes.
