This was all I could accomplish in 25 minutes. Any ideas on how I can improve my essay example-generating speed?

Also, please give me a numerical score out of 6 for this essay. Feedback for improvement would be great, too. Thank you in advance!

[Assignment]: Should we complain to get what we want? Plan and write an essay in which you develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience, or observations.

[Response:]
“Do what you love”- it is a phrase seen hastily written out on a post-it note as a positivity message on public restroom mirrors and a pithy statement people with successful careers give to their underlings when asked for advice. However, doing what one loves requires stepping on many toes; striving for that perfect balance between selfishness and selflessness inevitably results in as many haters as lovers. Thus, one should complain to get what he or she wants because otherwise, he or she will never mature or progress.

When Martin Luther King Jr. asked the President why he was not hastening the process to pass a bill that would alleviate the unfair voting restrictions placed on African Americans of the South, King was told that he had only one problem while the President had 101 problems. Realizing that the passion (civil rights) that consumed King’s life did not carry the same weight in the President’s eye, King did what he was best known for: complaining. No, he did not sit around and whine about the President’s lack of understanding. Instead, King organized a Sunday march on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. The ensuing violence shook the nation and finally imparted in the President a sense of urgency to pass the voting rights bill. Without the noise, the President would have never heard this call to action.

The resulting change in the civil rights agenda and the current degree of equality seen today is the fire that resulted from the lighting of a match of protests. To keep this blaze alive- in order to achieve 100% freedom and equality– more fuel will need to be added in the form of peaceful protest through civil disobedience and demonstrations. Without these alarms, the world will remain a quiet and suffocating vessel of stagnancy.

A numerical score will do…
