I got a 7 on my practice verbal. What should I do to raise my score?

Was it your very first practice verbal? If so, do another practice verbal section. You should see a jump of a point or two.

Try to understand why you scored poorly. Did you not read the question/answers all the way through before responding? Did you misunderstand the question? Did you run out of time?

With practice, your score should go up.

Yep it was my first practice test. Thank you. Any special way of practicing besides what you mentioned help?

… how old are you?

19, and a freshie.

Advice: Don’t touch the MCAT for another eighteen months.

Starting now shouldn’t hurt and may improve my scores more then if I start in my junior year.

Start reading the Economist and stop taking MCAT practice tests.

It’s a waste of precious time. And is neurotic behavior.
