Since post-offices are closed today, will CALS still accept the financial aid form and tax info, even though the deadline was Jan. 1?

And in addition, it states on the CALS website to include a
Copy of parent’s 2005 federal income-tax returns, including W-2s and all schedules filed, to:
Financial Aid
Application Processing Center
East Hill Plaza
349 Pine Tree Road
Ithaca, NY 14850-2899

Why is it saying 2005?, is this an old form?

anyone, please? I just need to know if that CALS date is inaccurate or not ( i know the reg. website says jan 4).

i don’t know the answers to your questions but since you seem desperate for someone’s help i’d say send in exactly what they ask for before the deadline. the admissions office is VERY helpful when it comes to getting forms in. call when they reopen and make sure that what you sent in was correct, and if it’s not, you sent in what they said on time so you can’t be penalized.

thanks, I hope they will be somewhat flexible with this…

Having done this last year, you send in your parents 2006 tax returns from last year. They will create a preliminary financial aid offer. After your parents do their 2007 tax returns they will reevaluate your package and make any necessary changes to your aid package.

on the form it says jan 4th, so i think you are all right

Much thanks!
