Thanks again! This will be of so much help to me!

Sure, you’re on the right track for all kinds of colleges, but you don’t mention your grades. You have no test scores yet either and most Top 20 colleges will want those. Which LACs are you referring to? There are a lot of LACs that are extremely selective, and a lot that are test optional. There are also plenty that would love to have you as you are right now.

Top 20s are going to want great grades and test scores, along with course rigor. If you’re serious about super selective colleges, you will want AP and/or IB courses too, if your school offers them. I see you have one completed, which is good. Just remember that you shouldn’t be going through high school with the idea that everything must be about getting into a top college. Get good grades, but not at the expense of your sanity or doing the things you care about. You will end up where you are supposed to end up. Good luck.

Thank you so much, Lindagaf! That is extremely helpful advice. I have an unweighted 3.9 GPA and I am primarily looking at Swarthmore, Carleton College and Vassar as my top LACs. I appreciate it.
