Intended Major: Physics, so I guess I’ll be applying to the College of Letters and Sciences for each one.

UC GPA: 3.81

SAT: 2290

SAT Subject Tests: World (800); planning to take Math II & Physics in the fall.

APs: English (5), World History (5), Chemistry (4), Art History (5), Calc BC (4).

I’m also taking a full IB course load, idk if that helps.

Extracurriculars:

  • 4 yrs. Speech & Debate; various awards (nothing too fancy).
  • Founder and president of Philosophy Club (2 yrs.)
  • Science Bowl (3 yrs.)

Although your test scores are great, UC GPA is lower than average for all but 3 of the UC’s and UC’s are very GPA focused. If you write some excellent essays, they could help a bit. EC’s are ok but nothing stands out.
