Dear bajajma : Before writing this chance-me review, we did some research on other postings you have made and clearly you have posted on about twenty collegiate message boards here on College Confidential looking for similar feedback and seeking information on safe schools. Can I suggest that you spend some time on the College Board’s web site and really go through the statistical data for the twenty schools on which you have sought review? That might save yourself a great deal of guess work in determining safe from stretch options.

Your unweighted average is fine though not spectacular. We have made this same observation with each and every poster who has supplied a 3.6 unweighted (88-to-90) average. Typically, not a top 10% in your high school average, it will be important for you to describe how your International Baccalaureate program has helped your education. Certainly receiving the diploma (collecting the 24 required points) will underscore your work.

Your board scores seem just below the midpoint (similar to a review done earlier today) and you should focus on bringing up the academic numbers there.
