You’ve shown a strong spike in math and your ability to do well in it by your SAT scores and IB predicted.

Considering that,
High reach: Brown
Mid/low reach: UMich, Duke, JHU, Cornell, Dartmouth, Georgia Tech
Match: U Wisconsin, Berkeley, UCLA, Carnegie Mellon
Safety: Purdue, Imperial College London (your ib predicted only), Boston College

I think its a good list; not overly ambitious but not aiming too low. Good luck!

Thank you for your reply :slight_smile: !!

@sldisek783 I’m also an IB student, so try to answer as many IB related posts as I can! What subjects do you take?

does imperial accept SAT for international students ( not american)

@commonapplicant Why is BC a safety school for him? It clearly seems like a hard school for him still.

@commonapplicant

English Lit SL
Second Language SL
Math SL
Chemistry HL
Comp Sci HL
Economics HL !

@HardOREasy

Yes, I agree. BC seems still difficult for me…

@Derpthulu

If you are taking an IB diploma, you have no need to send any other standardized test scores to British colleges (but, if you are an international student, you need TOEFL or IELTS scores)

@HardOREasy @sldisek783 Sorry, I confused BC. But I’ll still hold to it being a match, rather than a reach. 1450 converts to 2080 on the old SAT, and BC scores range from 1910-2150. All this plus an acceptance rate of 30%. Pretty solid chances.
