I go to a school where most kids score in the 1100-1500 range on the SAT, so I also took it upon myself to make a group on Facebook where I upload SAT content that can be downloaded and read. Yes, I’m no expert, and I cant coach anyone to a 2400, but I know I can get people out of the 1500s.

Now, this last one. I don’t know if it’s an extra curricular, a hook, or whatever. But here’s the deal. If you give me a word, I can mentally alphabetize the letters in it with great speed. For example:

TONIGHT = GHINOTT
CONFIDENTIAL = ACDEFIILNNOT
PREPARATION = AAEINOPPRRT

I looked around the internet briefly, and from what I can see, only a few other people can do this. I may be onto something here, lol

I’m also a legacy applicant. My mother’s aunt went there. A teacher who went to NYU is also writing a letter of recommendation for me. Lastly, I’m friends with someone who has a direct connection to the President of NYU. These should improve my chances, right?

I know my GPA and test scores are low, but I can only look forward from here, though. I just took my third SAT and I’m waiting for that score. I’ll probably take it a fourth time.

What do you guys think?

Thanks for your time, CC’ers.
