Indiana University
Miami (OH) University (EA)
Ohio University</p>

<p>Background Info:

  • Ohio Resident
  • Both Parents went and graduated from OSU
  • Income of $200,000+
  • No financial aid needed
  • White Male
  • Jewish
  • Have Lyme Disease
  • 1 Teacher, 1 College Counselor, 1 Doctor Recommendation</p>

<p>Education:

  • 3.64 Unweighted GPA
  • 3.76 Weighted GPA
  • Class does not rank
  • Taken 3 AP courses
  • Taken 3 Honors courses
  • College Major is undecided
  • Attend one of the top public High Schools in the state</p>

<p>Testing:

  • 26 Composite ACT
  • 31 Science, 28 Math, 26 English, 19 Reading, 8 Writing
  • Doctor’s Recommendation is about how the reading score is expected to be lower for a patient diagnosed with Lyme and that I am fine not under a time limit and will have no problems in college
  • No SAT scores</p>

<p>ECs:

  • 4 Clubs taken in High School
  • Religious Group
  • 100 Hour Internship
  • 150+ Hours of Community Service through multiple organizations
  • Senior Year I decided to forgo my Study Center and volunteer with the Special Education students during that period
  • Had/have a couple of jobs (stopped one of the two)
  • Physical Therapy for Lyme Disease
  • Had to stop basketball because of Lyme Disease</p>

<p>Essay:

  • Wrote about how I learned more about myself and conquered having Lyme Disease</p>

<p>You should get into them all. Indiana maybe not, but only if you apply to the business school. It seems to be tougher to get into than other majors.</p>

<p>Those should all be safeties. You could try to still improve your Reading score. That ACT is the only thing holding you back on much better places.</p>
