<p>I applied for UCI, UCSB, UCSC, UCR and UCDavis for fall 2010</p>

<p>I got into UCR!!! but i really dont want to go there my dream school is UCSB</p>

<p>I am of Middle Eastern Descent: Lebanese, first generation student
NO TAG agreements because i didnt have enough credits when i applied but i will by the end of the year(i am working super hard)
Major: Political Science emphasis on public service
will be done with IGETC by spring 2010
GPA:3.049
ECs:
Taught Sunday School. worked for a law firm throughout college(experience for my major), working three jobs while being a full time student</p>

<p>essay one: how i understood how important political science was from hearing the stories of the suffering of my parents in their home countries and how i have dedicated my life to becoming a lawyer and how i fully realized my dream by working for one</p>

<p>essay two: How perseverance is the most important quality in my life and how i was bullied a lot as a kid and how even through all the responsibilities i was given my whole life i was able to make it through</p>

What did you get on your SAT or ACT? Congratulations on UCR! i’m saying the other UC’s are reaches though because your GPA just isn’t up there with those schools averages (UCI- 4.01, UCSB- 3.9, UCSC- 3.7, UCD- 4.0) Have you taken AP/honors classes throughout high school? If you have also remember that the UC GPA could be lower than you’re actual high school GPA (which totally sucks i know…) good luck!</p>
