<p>I want to apply to cornell binding-early decision. If I got in, i would want to major in history.
The only reason that I think I may have a chance is because they accept about 35-40% of their ED applicants.
Here are my stats:
Gpa:3.7-huge upward trend. An 88.8 freshman year, a 95 sophomore, and a 96(predicted)junior
Sat-2250(predicted, took practice exams)
Act:32(same as sats)
Ec’s:model un, history club, 200+volunteer hours at hospital,John hopkins cty, will take college level courses at a college next summer, and a few other clubs run by my school.
Ap’s:school doesnt offer any although i may be able to take an online john hopkins cty course next summer.</p>

<p>Ivy leagues are generally reach so definitely have some safeties. If you really want to go to cornell, definitely apply early decision rather than regular. The fact that your school doesn’t offer APs stinks! Good luck! <p>applying ED will give you a boost and if you do well in your college courses you have a shot.
