Please chance me on Hotchkiss. Basically I chose Hotchkiss because of its sailing activity and varsity. I personally started sailing third grade, then started competing in the sport from last year, highest rank was national 8 in a major youth league. I also co-founded a Sail&Share club and I’m the Vice President of the club, basically organizing activities and trips to experience centers. For academics I have full As, mostly A+s, twice high honors (GPA 4.25 and 4.225 (4.3 is full A+)), JHU CTY High Honors (Also attended the camp for Fundamentals of Computer Science). I started coding a website recently, with helpful tools (mwsys.xyz), if that can help any bit. Also I have basketball JV 2 years Varsity 1 year. I’m planning on taking TOEFL soon, hopefully 110+, and I haven’t taken the SSAT or ISEE yet. Please chance me on Hotchkiss?

Other schools with great sailing are St. George’s, Tabor, Choate, Portsmouth Abbey…Don’t limit yourself to just one school! I have a friend whose son graduated from Portsmouth Abbey two years ago and now sails at an Ivy League university.
I’m guessing at St. George’s, Tabor, Choate and Portsmouth Abbey sailing is on large salt water bodies of water with trickier wind, tide and wave conditions compared to lake sailing at Hotchkiss.
Does it make a difference?
When submitting CTY make sure they are relatively recent or replicate or take another class or do to both to up date your transcript. It looks weird to submit really old stiff but people do it.
