<p>I’m a junior (female, Asian), senior in the fall (2010)
i go to a very competitive high school in NJ. silver medal school/ranked in the top 5 in state
these are my stats so far </p>

<p>+++++++++++++++++++++
UNWEIGHTED GPA: about 3.7
WEIGHTED GPA: about 4.08</p>

<p>freshmen gpa (didn’t try in frsh year :frowning: ): 3.583
soph gpa: 4.165
junior gpa: 4.5
estimated ~top 15% of my class (class of about 400~?) </p>

<p>i have taken the most rigorous classes that my school offers all three years. </p>

<p>SAT1’s: R 730, M 720, W 650. 2100 total
i’m taking them again, and expect a 22+
SAT2’s: Math 2c : 800
Bio E: 750
Chem: 750
History: scores are coming out in a week… probably around 700</p>

<h2>PSATS: 219</h2>

<p>recently took the AP exams for Calc AB / US history
expect at least a 4 on both, hopefully 5’s </p>

with my stats?
trying to decide on which college i will apply to as ED, and considering Stern, Cornell, Columbia, Barnard as my top choices… I realize that they’re very hard to get into! </p>

<p>I would apply to Barnard ED. Columbia, Chicago and Cornell will be huge longshots not being top 10%, being Asian and from NJ. Michigan looks good and good shot at Barnard ED with a good appliation.</p>

<p>Your grades are sufficients (yes, not the most outstanding). But you are basically eligible for serious consideration. </p>

<p>The ecs…well you do have a lot but I don’t see anything that stands out. Are you a music person? Music is pretty common as far as I’m concerned.</p>

<p>Good job though. You should be good for Cornell and maybe Columbia.</p>
