<p>What are my chances for Yale, Stanford, and Brown? Harvard?
Academics:
IB Diplomat: I revolved my high school schedule around my career interest which is international journalism. With that said I took 4 years of news writing, 4 years of French, 3 years of Spanish(higher level Lang classes).
ACT with writing Goal: 33</p>

Volunteered at a journalism community relations department over a summer, I volunteered at a local newspaper during another summer, I had my work published in newspapers, magazines, and online within my community.
I am apart of a out of school antidrug and alcohol group that hosts programs to reduce the amount of teens doing drugs (selective admission)
During my summers I’m apart of a government organization where I volunteer and learn about the local government in my community.
I am a minority who can fluently speak Arabic, so I tutor ESL elementary students after school at least 2 days a week. (over 500 service hours)
I am a first generation college student, minority, parents spoke very little English when they came to America, so it was hard for me to receive homework help when I was younger. My father never went to high school, my mom never went to college. Big family in Ohio
Track for one year, tennis for 2 years. I also attended a journalism workshop at a local university during one summer.
