<p>Your cousin having gone to UCLA won’t help you in the least. Not even if both your parents went. Also, your moniker indicates that UCLA is not your dream school – not that it matters for UCLA since their rival is USC! (Although if you had said Cal is your dream school, Berkeley students might seriously argue with you!).</p>

<p>But to answer your question . . . you have a good chance, depending on what you plan to list as your major (if you’re planning on listing a major). With the SATs, probably better luck in L&S (even undecided). Knock out good essays and you will have a better chance.</p>
