<p>Hello!
I’m a junior in high school right now.
I really really want to get into University of Texas at Austin and two days ago I got a transcript from my high school.
I’m little stressed out right now because I know my percentage is not top 7% right now
so it won’t be an automatic admission unless I incredibly do well on my second semester. (T.T)
And is it true that high school class of 2015 might not have a CAP system for UT Austin?
My extracurricular activities beside Student Council might be little weak.</p>
<p>Anyway,
- I go to very competitive public school in Texas.
- I’m in top 7.7% (urgghhh -_-;;).
- I got 2080 on my SAT (CR: 560, M: 740, W: 780, E: 10/12) and I took another one this January which I did not get my
score yet (hopefully I did better :D) - I do not think I want to take ACT. ;(
- I am planning to take SAT subject tests.
- I took a lot of AP classes and Honor classes I can possibly take.
- I’m in 4 clubs including National Honor Society.
- I was a Secretary of Student Council last year.
- Now I’m a President of Student Council!
- I went to Band Solo and Ensemble and got several awards.
- I went to Japanese Speech Contest and won an award.
- I know I can get letters of recommendation from my teachers.
- Major I want to choose is either Biology or Engineering. Or I might just do an Undeclared if this is “easier” to get in
- I am definitely going to have a part-time job over this summer.
—> this is all I can think of… </p>
<p>And also I think I can write pretty good essays</p>
<p>This is my Senior prospective schedule (I think I’m going pretty tough…)
- AP Lit.
- AP Calculus BC
- AP Physics 2
- AP Japanese
- AP Gov and Eco (a semester each)
- AP Environmental Science
- Study hall (maybe)</p>
