I think your stats look really good!

May I ask what you made on your SAT?

Your ACT is on point, in my opinion, and your SAT II tests look nice as well. A lot of people on CC, however, state that OOS applicants have more difficulty getting in, which is true (unfortunately).

But I think you have a shot at Duke!

Your ECs are very good and consistent (with your interest in chess/volunteering).

Also, class rank and GPA are good. The only thing I would advise is possibly taking more AP classes, but I think you have a good chance even without more AP classes. The more rigorous the schedule, the better!

Good luck!

I would also like to add that Duke loves their prospective students to make a great deal of progress in foreign languages, which you have done by taking four years of Spanish. I also forgot to mention that your UVA award looks very good as well.

Hey, I go to your rival school (eds), I think you have great chances; but who knows, this year theres like a 20% increase in applicants . Anyways good luck, hopefully we both get in.

great ec’s and your scores are fine so I think you will get in

I didn’t send my SATs to Duke, but I got a 2080 (730 Math, 680 CR, 670 Writing). I greatly appreciate eeryone’s feedback!

Will 4 years of Latin, 2 of which are AP help with admission to Duke if one has reasonable stats? #1 in class, 3.98 (unweighted), 4.7 weighted GPA, 8 AP classes, all the rest honors, NMF, 2210 SAT,AP scholar, tons of academic awards, editor of school paper,Danforth and Jefferson nominee,HOBY,officer on Forensics team, etc?
