fairly low chance unless you are a minority, first generation, or like double legacy.

he also is an african american

being a minority helps but they get a ton of kids from nj and stats arent typical yale application standards

does double legacy hold a lot more influence than single legacy?

I’ve known several double legacies who were top ranked in their class, all of them have been rejected.

The question is whether the stats are typical for URM applicants, and they may well be competitive. The ECs are pretty good. I would say that this student is likely to be accepted to one or more highly selective school–it’s tougher to predict any specific one.
By the way, he must be a pretty good actor if he can play Anne Frank…

made me laugh, Hunt

Is your 3.7 GPA out of 4.0 or 5.0? Did you copy and paste this from a resume? I personally wouldn’t put information that specific online.
