what are my friends chances

please chance -bump

I got in with fairly similar stats…4.0 unweighted and 4.8 weighted and 1920 SAT’s. I also received a $20,000 scholarship! Good Luck to you!:)

Class rank has more to do with the number than the competitiveness of the school. The application is about how YOU (HE) fit (s) in your (his) school, not “Everyone who goes here is uber-smart, so you really can’t judge…”

I’d say the effect of class rank is rather strong when it goes beyond 25%.

His SAT missing the 2000 mark also might hurt.

I do believe his stats are okay for acceptance, but his shot at merit scholarship is kinda low.
