<p>53 is a bit excessive. I know a lot of people who came in with anywhere from 30-45, but 53 is definitely at the top. I don’t know how you would even have time for all of those classes during HS…unless OP was not in band/art/any other type of non academic activity, or took exams without actually taking the courses.</p>
<p>But, whatever. Certainly possible I guess. </p>
<p>And, it seems Euroazn is particularly interested in UMD and college so if he/she wants to get so excited, so be it 
I think that’s great, as long as you can sustain it!</p>
<p>I didn’t look at the schedule though. Quite frankly that’s on you, take what seems interesting. Make sure to try to use ratemyprofessor or something because at the least you’ll see what professors have been deemed horrible. </p>
<p>I have a friend that takes 18 credits a semester and it seems to be her sweet spot. You might want less so that you can take on a job/internship, leadership in campus activities, or what have you, though…</p>
