might wanna apply to a safety. those are all difficult schools to get into.

okay i know they are difficult, any advice on what i should do ppl??? any???

you should have applied to a different school early, one that cares more about scores and gpa. Your writing and verbal are VERY low for ivies, way too low. You need math science schools like JHU and you need safties. I dont want to sound negative but i dont think you will get into many ivies. Improve your essay, get good recs, get on top of it this is your life.

You are good at math and weak at verbal/writing; this is pretty obivious, but the real problem lies in you 630 bio. It says you aren’t that grand at science. So with you scores you are math powerful, but you have the science dragging you down, and since they go hand-in-hand, I think it really hurts you. Maybe you should try a SAT II of a more math-like science like physics or chemistry. I also agree that you should apply to some safeties because the rank problem with hurt you with the Ivies and you don’t have a lot of ECs. You should also overhaul your essay if its not that good. With your scores, for the Ivies, the essay will be big. Good luck with whatever you do.

thanx a lot u guys, i like these comments keep them coming. Would it help explain my verbal if i said i am not native english speaker?(but then again, i have been in an english speaking country for over 5 years.) If it does help, how can i incorporated with my app??
also, i am retaking bio, hoping for 720+ :)

Look at University of Chicago, University of Rochester (they even give merit scholarships), and Rice University. How about Ohio Wesleyan, too. I agree with SAMTROB- look at Johns Hopkins. Your list is very unbalanced- all reaches, no real matches, no safety. How about some of the big, high ranked schools- NYU, George Washington, Boston University?

I thought about those, and rice, chicago and rochester were on the top of my list, but later i found their “No aid for internationals program”. U c, i am very poor and cannot afford University/college. Therefore, i have to apply to schools that offer fin. aids :(

bump, last minute advice

Amherst is also not need-blind for internationals, Williams is however, and is almost identical to Amherst
