I have an essay here. I need to be shot down with some good constructive criticism. It’s insanely long (800 words), written in the present tense, and perhaps a little off topic. I can’t look at it objectively anymore. My college guidance councilor, my english teacher, and my SAT tutor all like it. I really don’t know where to trim. I’m applying to Medill. Maybe I’ll put something down in the additional information section saying “I’m very sorry, but I couldn’t bare to butcher it, treat this like a writing portfolio piece. I’m just bitter about the SAT Writing and want to overcompensate.”

who’s game?
