<p>If I prefer to watch the last day of the Master’s rather than going to Easter Dinner at her mother’s house (at least this year), that is exactly what I am going to do.</p>

<p>If I prefer to watch football all day on Thanksgiving with all the rest of the male members of the extended family, that is exactly what I am going to do.</p>

<p>I’m a little afraid to post here. I’m not sure I have a “man card”. My wife works in a different city, so she’s gone most of the week, and I have to do the cooking, cleaning, parenting, and taking-care-of-her-mother.</p>

<p>I have, so far, resisted all attempts on her part to restrict my CD purchases. And sometimes I watch part of a televised football or basketball game. On the other hand, I had to go see The Devil Wears Prada twice.</p>
