Hi i am preparing to re-take my SAT. Last time i had a 1970 with 760 on math 600 critical reading and 610 on writing. I am a Pakistani so my english skills r basically just polished for effective clear communication through writing and orally but on SAT the critical reading section there is some pretty fancy english…how can i shoot for 700+ in tht section if i have like three months before the test and I am done with my A levels so have nothing more on my mind but SAT so i can give all the time it needs…
Last time I prepared from CB and PR(tht was like a year ago after tht i got so caught up in my Advanced Levels tht had no time to think abt SAT…) and used to score like 2150 average but tht fell down badly on actual cuz i dunno on the test my mind got all blocked and i couldnt think as clearly!!..
Right now i have bought Kaplans and I have started preparing frm it but i think tht PR strategies r much better for the critical reading section aren’t they??
Anyways help me all u can with all the reading material u can suggest tht ll help me go 2200+ cuz i wanna get into dartmouth!!!

read Barrons vocab . it’s supposed to be helpful for non natives like us

There is a series of books that are classics that have been changed to include SAT words. I bought the Wizard of Oz and had my son read that to improve his vocabulary.
