<p>CC has amended its policy and now allows links to YouTube; however, content within the links still needs to adhere to CC Terms of Service. Links to inappropriate content, videos and photos, will always be prohibited.</p>
Just to clarify further, what the Terms of Service also says is that links to authoritative sources are allowed. This would be sources such as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Slate, etc. Blogs that are under the editorial purview of such sites are also allowed.
