Please give me some advice/ chances

Hi, I am a raising junior getting progressively more worried/anxious about college applications. Currently, I am thinking about applying to (rough list): Barnard, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Mount Holyoke, UPenn, Princeton, Swarthmore, Tufts, Wellesley EE, and Yale. I have visited most of the schools above, and I really like Swarthmore and Wellesley. I still have yet to visit Yale, Tufts, Princeton, and Barnard though. I would like to get chances on the above schools, but I would also love to hear other advice if you have it.

Stats:

School: Rigorous Highly Ranked Private School in Large City
GPA: (School doesn’t do traditional weighted) 4.05/4.0 (extra little bits for A+s)
Class Rank: School does not rank, but top 5 (Cum Laude inductee)
ACT: 32 (R 35, E 34, S 30, M 29) 11 Essay --> single sitting
SAT: N/A
SAT 2: Math 1, 740
School does not offer AP/IB, instead all classes are at “Honors” level but took APUSH anyway, will get results next week hoping for 4/5 (felt good about it and my teacher seems confident I should do well)
Extracurriculars: Lit Mag Editor, Yearbook Editor, Class President, Model UN VP, Student Action Team President, Admissions Ambassador, 200 hours community service, Varsity Field Hockey, Spanish Club, Peer Tutor, Job at Catering Company
Creator of Food Blog with thousands of views (more of just a hobby though)
Languages: English, German, Arabic (semi interesting family background) and Italian and Spanish in school
Awards/ Recognitions: National Spanish Exam Bronze, School English Award/ Scholarship, Scholastic Art and Writing Awards- regional (20), Cum Laude, Publication of 4 poems (2 different magazines- regional publications)
Summers: Competitive Paid internship at Hospital, Arabic Classes, Service Trip to South America (Month), Writing Camp through Scholastic Competition
Common App Essay: Growing up Mennonite in a community with a distorted view of my religion and ethnic identity

I would really like a school with strong humanities- in particular strong programs in history, political science, international relations, languages, and writing (creative).
So that is the jist of it… if you guys have any ideas of colleges I should look at PLEASE COMMENT! I CAN USE THE HONEST HELP!

Again, here is my current list of schools:

Barnard, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Mount Holyoke, UPenn, Princeton, Swarthmore, Tufts, Wellesley, Yale

Thanks a ton! I’m hoping to try to cement a college list or at least a selection of schools to visit.

Bump!

Your stats are very good and your story/essay sounds quite interesting and compelling; hopefully that will set you apart from the pack of other top students applying to these schools!

It seems like a good list except you’re very light on safeties. I guess you’re considering Bryn Mawr and MHC your safeties? I think you need to add at least one more that’s safer than those two. I feel like you have a good shot at getting into some of these schools but it would be awful to get shut out next spring. Your stats are great, but most of the schools on your list are dice rolls even for the very tippy top students. Hopefully some other posters can give you some ideas on more safeties.

Good luck!

Thank you so much @staceyneil ! Do you have any ideas for safeties? I was considering Bryn Mawr and Mt Holyoke low matches/safeties only because of the naviance stats from my school with admissions to these schools. Bryn Mawr’s average GPA is 3.5 and SAT is 1930 from my school. Mt Holyoke has accepted three girls recently who had an average GPA of 3.0 and SAT of 1700 (I’m guessing they used score-optional). I would love advice on others to look into though! I really want to make my list less top-heavy!

Update: 5 on APUSH
