<p>keep your grades as high as possible. If it’s an ivy, this means an unweighted 3.8 or above, in order to be competitive. Take about three SATII subject tests (perhaps one science, math IIC, and one humanities) and score above 700 on all of them. You should probably also be involved in your school activities-- by this, I don’t mean join 39482349 clubs-- 2 or 3 will do, as long as you’re devoted to them and perhaps also gain one or two leadership positions in them. Um. Well, if you’re applying now, I guess you should just work on getting good teacher recs and essays. Read some books about college, like A is for Admission (Michelle Hernandez).</p>
<p>What school is it? What’s your resume like? Certain schools will stress different things, and your resume will, presumably, have different strengths. If we know these things, we can tell you what would help to get into your reach.</p>

<p>Apply ED if your school has it!
Also, if it only has EA or you can’t apply ED b/c of fin aid issues, you could tell them in “additional information” that their school is your top choice, and if admitted you’ll go (that’s what i did!) good luck!!! i felt the same way about one particular school!</p>
