Since you aren’t afraid of women’s colleges, take a look at some of the others including Agnes Scott, Hollins, and Sweet Briar (all four year colleges), and Cottey (a two year college with an excellent transfer program, and a long-standing interest in maintaining a certain percentage of international students). For a full list of women’s colleges, visit

As to other possible matches/safeties, it would help us if you could indicate what you would like to major in, or if you have a specific career goal.

I’d like to major in eco and maybe be pre-med. I don’t really like any other womens’ colleges other than the 3 on I’ve listed.
What do you guys think of my chances with the colleges I’ve listed?

Your list is very reachy. You need matches and safeties.
How about Pitzer instead of CMC.
Choose a state school that you can get into.
US news has a list of A plus schools for B students, you should take a look.

There are a number of LACs in the midwest/midatlantic areas that would be more realistic for you than the schools you’ve chosen. I would consider Kenyon (big on writing) Beloit, the College of Wooster, and Goucher for starters. Perhaps Elon and Furman in the south.

Why do you want to go to school in the US? What are you looking for in a school?
