<p>2200 is not on the low side, lol. And I'm pretty sure that Cornell doesn't care that much about the writing section. I would say that you have good chances, but it's no guarantee for almost anyone. That you're not in the top ten percent might hurt you, but judging by your school it might be acceptable. Like someone above said, good stuff.</p>
<p>because no college cares too much about it. It's still too new and there aren't enough statistics on it in order to factor it into the admissions decision. No one really knows how good a 700 or 750 is. There just isn't enough data from the writing section yet. Also, colleges really don't like to change a lot, especially the tradition-rich ones like Cornell.</p>
