Hi. I am 17 yr old senior living in Kentucky. I moved to US from korea in the 2nd semester of my freshmen yr of high school, and i had no idea what i needed to do to plan for college admission. (Now I am fluent in English) I took around 3~4 random clubs, and as a junior i took 3 ap classes. (score will be posted on july 8th). I am taking 4 ap classes this year as a senior, and i got 30 composite score on my act. I have 3.9 GPA and got all A’s as a junior and sophomore. I am doing some volunteering work at animal shelter this summer, but not significant much. I am honestly willing to go to certain state colleges as long as they offer me a scholarship, and i don’t think i stand a chance in “better” colleges. I have to pay for my own education, and my family is not able to apply for financial aid due to low income. I need help to find out if i have a chance of getting enough scholarships at colleges like U of Louisville, or U of Kentucky. If not, which college should i shoot for that is better than those two but would accept me. I would really appreciate some help because as a foreigner, i have NO IDEA about any American college admissions. Thank you!
