PLEASE HELP!!!

cmon guys. help me out!!!

what is you state of residency so i can look at some public schools that might fit you stats.

Southwestern Nebraska Tech

In all seriousness though, you should go for the top state schools in your state. Or some mid-tier privates like Boston College, Rice University, Wake Forest, Tulane, Boston University, etc.

Your GPA is hurting you, as I am sure you already know. Also only 2 AP’s by the time you graduate? That doesn’t show a school you really challenged yourself. Still, you can get into some very good schools (BTW, I wouldn’t call Rice a “mid-tier” private, nor the others really. Anything in the top 50 is usually considered first tier, but whatever. Ranking meaningless anyway). What would really target the discussion is for you to give some specifics as to what you would like in a school. Size, location, sports scene, Greek scene, etc. What is important to you? And of course finances. Will you need a lot of aid? Or is your family comfortable enough to pay no matter what?

i think he gave up on CC he posted twice then when he didnt get any replies at first he left

sorry guys. i had a really busy day last night and today. i dont want to sound like an *******, but my school is a wealthy community outside of boston. i am set with financial aid. i do not like sciences. unfortunately most of the AP offered at my school are in the sciences. size is not really relevant, i am pretty flexible. greek life would be nice. im sorta a lax bro so yea id fit in in a frat. i like having a good sports scene, and if moderately important. location not so much, as i feel as if i could adjust as long as its not muhlenburg. sorry muhlenburg alum, but the town is a piece of crap. however my school IS very competitive for a public school, and is well known. specifically it is the best of second best public school in MA. please continue to help me out. i have been accepted to a private school to repeat junior year, and i want to go to a good school, i just dont know if i need another year or not.

i think you should be a good match for UMass

@Fallenchemist- I know Rice is a good school. As far as the tiers, I kinda came up with my own system (top 20 schools being top tier and 20-50ish being mid tier). Looking back, it probably isn’t the best way of describing the schools (there are good schools outside the top 50). Some of the rankings are kinda BS. My humblest apologies.

@Crocketrr12- it really doesn’t matter a whole lot how good your high school is (and whether or not you go to public or private high school). As long as its accredited, and as long as you make some use of their honors/AP/IB classes (whatever a school has), then the high school’s prestige doesn’t factor into college admissions. It really only matters if you have not so good test scores and grades which can be explained by going to a subpar school that does not have many resources or a decent quality of education

ok thank. please cuz keep posting i need help. i chance back

Get recruited for lax, brahski

4 years of varsity lax is nice

well idk if i canna play in college, but im kinda lookin to go to a good school. like legit ive been stressing out ha arent we all

idk if i wanna play

depending on your preferences and your financial situation, you might be a good match for BU or similar private colleges.

financial situation is ok. I am fortunate enough to not have to apply for financial aid, so we are ok in that dept. preferences…im pretty open.

so i took the sat. got a 1870. i think i will be able to break the 1900 mark, and hopefully i can reach 2000, but its possible that i may not. but count on the low 1900s area. I also played 2 years of soccer which i forgot to include
