Please Help Me With EC's!!!!!

So, I do a good amount of clubs for my school and have the academics/SAT score needed. I am co-captain of the debate team, and have received national honors and awards for four years. I am also an officer for National History Club, and have received nationals honors/qualifications for the National History Day. I do DECA, and I do racquetball and taekwondo for sports.

I am planning to go into engineering (biomedical). Are there any work opportunities that would help me become more comfortable with the field and help my college app at the same time? Any response would be appreciated!!!

Try some math/science summer programs or participate in Intel/Siemens science fair competitions…

For work opportunities try to shadow a doctor or something lame like that

Well if your interested in the biomedical field definitely do some work around medicine. Like shadow a doctor, with summer coming up take a college course in it (counts as an EC!), volunteer at your local ambulance corp if possible. Some hospitals like Stony Brook also offer summer programs. Theirs is called SARAS (google it!). I see ‘yankeesnation’ so I’m assuming you’d be in the local NY area. I’m telling you, look into that program!!!
