If you meet the criteria, you will automatically be accepted to several of the UCs, including UCD. You may or may not get accepted into the major you want though.

Not sure why you're concerned you won't get in....

Im scared i wont get into the ones i want: SD Irvine or Davis :(

Are you in the Top 9% of your class? Have you taken the courses required? If yes, you most likely will get automatically accepted to UCI and UCD. Stop stressing and have a great senior year...don't let senioritus get to you. It's so sad when students get their acceptance pulled due to low grades or missing classes.

Now I only hope you have the funds to go, and some safety schools.

My advice is to apply to as many UCs... and CSU's as possible.

Don't discount CSUs... they are nearly 100% PHD Professors... but they don't have to be absent doing research.

The bottom line is, don't put all your eggs in one basket. You may not get into any college if you do.

Are Davis and UCI guaranteeing acceptances to ELC students? I was under the impression that the new ELC only guaranteed students into Merced... I could be wrong, though.
