Please Help Me...

<p>Dear CC advisers</p>

<p>Hi, I’m currently studying Government & International Politics at GMU as a sophomore (I’m an international student),</p>

<p>and I’m planning to apply to UVA for fall semester in 2012</p>

<p>My GPA (just finished 1st semester sophomore) is 3.58, and I really do not know whether my grade is competitive among other applicants but people told me it is quite low and there is barely a chance for me.</p>

<p>But I really look forward to transfer to UVA, and…I hope posting my problems here will help me greatly as I’m really desparate of help…</p>

<p>Thank you for reading and if anyone of you knows how I should make my application competitve, please advise me</p>

<p>It looks like they have about a 35% accept rate for transfers but that may include transfers they are required to take from Va cc’s. You are going to have a tough time but I don’t think you are out of the running.</p>

<p>Does it mean I need new SAT scores or other things to make my application stand out?</p>
