Planning to go to Leadership Camp

How are my chances for:

Upenn (ED)
Boston College (EA)
Swarthmore
Columbia
Lehigh
Rowan
Rutgers
Haverford
JHU
Princeton

My question is, how badly will my SATs affect my standing at these schools? I feel that going to governor’s school and having all the community service stuff going for me, it shouldn’t hurt me TOO bad. I’m planning to take it again, but i find it so hard to test well. I’ve taken the Kaplan course and study out of barrons 2400 too. is there any possible way to go about studying for the sats/ any tips for being successful? PLEASE HELP ME! PM me if you can, i really need help.

bump, please?

Is your 1550 out of 1600 or 2400?

24, i know it’s horrible. i must have had a bad day because my practice tests were not like that

Unless you retake your SATs and do much better, you have absolutely no chance at Upenn (ED), Swarthmore, Columbia, Haverford, JHU, or Princeton. With scores as a general sorter, they’ll toss you in the No pile without looking further at your application. You really need to adjust your list.

Actually, with that SAT score, you don’t have a chance at any of those schools. For your sake I really hope that SAT score was a fluke! What were your PSAT scores?

You have to retake your SAT’s… either that or take the ACT, score high on that and see where your options would take you from there.

1700, maybe i had a bad day? i dont really know, my last practice test for kaplan i got a 1790, so i was suprised with that grade. it no where near resembles who i am

even with a 1790, most of your schools (including upenn, swat, columbia, etc) are still not within your reach. i suggest retaking your SATs after practicing/studying a lot more.

More realistically, look at DIFFERENT SCHOOLS.

You’re looking at entirely unrealistic schools OP. Look elsewhere including schools that are SAT/ACT optional.
